Results
The correct process for getting a Corona vaccine
Only 25 per cent of the respondents knew that registration is a must for vaccination. While a staggering 43 per cent think that they will have to take help of a local politician or a government official for the same.
43 per cent of the people in Kerala know about registration while only 13 per cent and 11 per cent of the people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh respectively. 37 per cent in Maharashtra and 19 per cent in Rajasthan.
What is CoWin?
Of those who knew that registration is required for vaccination, 72 per cent of them knew that CoWin is the app for it. Except for people in Bihar (50 per cent) and Madhya Pradesh (47 per cent), good number of people from the other 5 states know about CoWin. 64 per cent in Gujarat and 89 per cent in Uttar Pradesh know about it.
There is a glaring difference between states with regard to vaccine awareness in general and CoWin in particular. Efforts should be ramped up to spread awareness.
